SOFT EDGE EUROPEAN OAK texture lacquered

Before modern milling methods, Oak floors were laid and planed by hand to a soft flat surface on site by the carpenter finishing the floor. This meant each board took on a slight curve as it was easier to smooth the edges down than to level the whole floor. Our Soft Edge floor reproduces this historic effect and to make installation easier, we’ve added our texture lacquered finish.
