At Ted Todd this process varies significantly from a single fuming process. Our double fuming process takes three months and creates unique deep brown tones through the depths of the Oak which ensures that the dark brown tones remain, even after the floor has been resanded. The reaction is created by the tannins naturally turning the Oak darker.
