Trinity Square London

By 2nd March 2017

Trinity Square, once the heart of Britain’s trading empire, has arisen once again after a six year, multimillion pound renovation with a little help from Ted Todd. One of the finest examples of a true landmark building in London, the Grade II listed building located next to the Tower of London has now been re-created into a collection of 41 luxury apartments and a five star Four Seasons flagship Hotel, Club and Spa.

The famous architectural masterpiece which is regarded as one of Britain’s finest buildings simply oozes national historical value. As Britannia ruled the sea in 1922, negotiating cargo through the Thames and Tower Bridge, Trinity Square was built to become the Port of London Authorities headquarters. An integral and powerful presence, bringing order to the trade route where competition and congestion had flourished.  Opened in 1922 by Prime Minister Lloyd George and renowned architect Sir Edwin Cooper, it was aimed at facilitating record levels of trade after the First World War.

The new residences range in size from 1 to 5 bedrooms with unspoilt views of the Square Mile, Tower of London, Tower Bridge and the River Thames. The designs throughout each residence draws on the building’s historical origins in the 1920’s, neo-classical architecture built from timeless luxury and glamour.  Each residence holds incredibly spacious areas from long hallways to high ceilings, demanding only the finest of materials, craftsmanship and quality.

We at Ted Todd are proud to have had our wood flooring specified throughout the 41 luxury apartments. Working with some of the worlds most acclaimed designers during this project, Ted Todd were able to provide the most suitable flooring solution for this intricate and demanding project.
