Urban Eclectic

By 9th August 2016

The trend for using wood on both horizontal and vertical surfaces continues to grow – it seems you can’t have too much of a good thing. The key is to mix up different textures, tones, patterns and finishes to create a striking, ultra-modern look.

Here we’ve used Pallene from our Patterns & Panels Collection, while the raised pattern of the Woodworks Walnut wall cladding adds to the eclectic look. Use calm grey on the walls to balances the overall look.

Design tip — start with wood cladding in a cloakroom, creating an atmospheric space using skinny vertical planks in dark wood, or horizontal planks in a paler tone.
