About Appleby Amphora Weave
New to the Classic Futures® collection, Appleby Amphora Weave brings gentle terracotta undertones to a new generation of parquetry. This Ted Todd registered design combines a soft, flowing pattern with interchangeable mono, duo or trio tones, allowing bespoke laying patterns to be created across the floor. Partner with Chatsworth and Harlington, our newly introduced wood floor tones of the future, for a design statement. From stripe to mixed, the possibilites are endless. Crafted from elevated nature grade European oak, Appleby features fewer knots and less sapwood for a cleaner appearance while retaining expressive grain. Finished with an Absolute Matt® Lacquer for an ultra-low 3% sheen for a contemporary surface suited to modern interiors. Its 20mm, 100% hardwood construction with a 6mm wear layer provides strength and stability, with multi-directional installation options for considered room-to-room schemes or walls.

Our most commonly used wood species due to its strength and durability. Sourced from cooler climates to encourage slower growth, meaning tighter growth with straight grain and unique knot structure.

Our most popular grade due to its natural look, celebrating organic features such as knots, irregular grain pattern and closed heartwood. Occasional lighter sapwood of up to 30% of the boards.

Traditionally planed and fine sanded to create a flat, even surface. The result is a clean, polished appearance that focuses on the grain pattern and wood tones.
