Square Wood Flooring

Square wood flooring is a format unique to Ted Todd's Create® collection, made up of individual 127 x 127mm squares of European Oak rather than long planks or strips. Each square is 3 ply engineered, 15mm deep and finished with a 4mm wear layer, so it can be laid in grid patterns, mixed with other formats such as herringbone and chevron, or used to create a design specific to a project.

Each square measures 127 x 127mm and is 15mm thick. Because of this fixed, tile like size, square wood flooring is sometimes described as square wood tiles.

Yes. Every square wood floor in the Create® collection is suitable for use over underfloor heating. We recommend checking the specification of the individual floor you are considering before installation, as details can vary across the range.

Yes. At 15mm thick, square wood flooring is suited to floors, but it is also light enough to be used on walls and ceilings as cladding, bringing the same pattern and colour options to a vertical surface.
