Woodworks is the Ted Todd sister workshop for reclaimed, antique and bespoke wood floors. Every board is sourced from genuine antique and reclaimed timbers and restored by hand in our Cheshire workshops, so each floor is one of a kind.

Ted Todd designs and makes new engineered and solid wood floors. Woodworks floors are made to order from wood that has already lived — antique French oak, Burmese teak and other reclaimed timbers — keeping the nail holes, saw marks and age-worn grain that tell each board’s story.

Yes. Planks, panels and parquetry are made to order: choose the format, tone, texture and finish, or commission something entirely bespoke. The workshop delivers handmade floors at scale — over 5,000 m² a month — with specification support from the first conversation to the final board.

Woodworks was one of the first flooring companies in Europe to gain full FSC certification, back in 1997. Today over 90% of Woodworks flooring is certified under FSC, PEFC or reclaimed standards.
