FAQs

General

Ted Todd offers engineered and solid wood floors across plank, herringbone, chevron, parquet and patterned formats, with a wide choice of tones, textures and finishes.

Start with how the room will be used, the amount of natural light and the style you want to create. Samples and consultations help narrow the options.

Yes. You can order samples online or visit a design centre to compare finishes and formats in person.

Purchasing

Homeowners are connected with an approved retail partner who can measure, quote and support installation for the chosen floor.

The website supports browsing, samples and project proposals. Your local partner completes the final quote and purchase route.

Lead times vary by floor, stock position and project location. Your retail partner will confirm the expected delivery timing before order.

Installation

Professional installation is strongly recommended and may be required for warranty cover, especially for parquet patterns and complex rooms.

The subfloor must be clean, dry, flat and structurally sound. Moisture and site conditions should be checked before installation begins.

Most floors need time on site before fitting. Your installer should follow the guidance for your chosen product and room conditions.

Delivery

Delivery timing depends on stock, order size and location. In-stock products are usually dispatched faster than bespoke or made-to-order floors.

Inspect the delivery on arrival, photograph any damage and report it to your retail partner as soon as possible so replacement support can be arranged.

Warranty

Our structural warranty covers eligible Ted Todd floors when they have been installed and maintained in line with the relevant guidance.

Use the warranty registration page and keep your purchase and installation details to hand.
