As Ted Todd’s sister brand, Woodworks shares a legacy of timber expertise and craft built over more than thirty years. Ted Todd makes beautifully designed, enduring wood floors for contemporary interiors. Woodworks brings this knowledge to singular commissions, handcrafting each floor to order for projects shaped by a distinctive creative vision.
Every story has a starting point. Woodworks' began in the English countryside with a shed, a single beam, and a belief in doing things properly. Decades later, we’re still crafting floors with the same care, just on a much larger stage.

Every board is restored and finished by hand in our Cheshire workshops, with the same belief that started it all: make it properly, make it purposefully.

Wood that has lived
From antique French oak to Burmese teak, we preserve the markings that make each board unique: nail holes, saw marks, age-worn grain. They are not flaws. They are the story.

From pioneering wide planks to the award-winning Carbonised collection, made with a traditional wood-burning process, Woodworks floors respond to architecture and endure over time.

Responsible by design
One of the first flooring companies in Europe to gain full FSC certification, back in 1997. Today over 90% of Woodworks flooring is certified under FSC, PEFC or reclaimed standards.

Salvaged with care
Antique and reclaimed timbers are gathered from mills, barns, châteaux and warehouses, then graded and stored in our Cheshire timber archive.
