Underlay

Universal Bond is a high-grab, self-adhesive underlay available in 3mm and 5mm thicknesses, designed to reduce installation and subfloor preparation time. Its stable, non-collapsing construction is ideal where a bonded installation is required with the option to lift the flooring later. Made from 100% recycled high-density rubber crumb, Universal Bond provides 23dB impact sound reduction at 3mm and 26dB at 5mm. The integrated PET moisture barrier has an SD value of 150, providing high vapour resistance. Suitable for access flooring applications, with the 3mm option compatible with underfloor heating. A SR1-level subfloor is required for herringbone installation.
