Spur RBW
A reclaimed pine bar for the UK’s first Spur RBW restaurant Hip and Eternity reclaimed pine boards were used vertically around the restaurant’s bar. Original nail holes, worn surfaces and distressed painted details remain visible, with customised colours developed for the Corby interior. Woodworks by Ted Todd was commissioned to supply reclaimed timber cladding for the bar. Woodworks is our sister brand, specialising in extraordinary modern and historic wood floors, handmade panels and bespoke architectural details, developed and made in its Cheshire workshops. Our craftspeople customised Hip and Eternity to coordinate with the restaurant’s colour scheme.

The Spur Group expanded its UK restaurant portfolio with the opening of Spur RBW in Corby, a casual dining concept specialising in ribs, burgers and wings.
Woodworks by Ted Todd was commissioned to supply reclaimed timber cladding for the restaurant’s bar. Woodworks is our sister brand, specialising in extraordinary modern and historic wood floors, handmade panels and bespoke architectural details, developed and made in its Cheshire workshops.
Hip and Eternity are reclaimed pine boards, aptly held in Woodworks by Ted Todd’s Reclaimed collection. These were selected for the vertical surfaces. Both floors preserve the marks of their former lives, including worn surfaces, nail holes and historic patina. Distressed painted details add further character to the timber.
Our craftspeople customised the colours to coordinate with the restaurant’s interior scheme. Installed vertically around the bar, the boards establish a distinctive focal point within the warm and informal setting.
The floors up close
Hip is made from solid reclaimed Victorian pine with distressed, hand-painted surfaces. Blackened nail holes and authentic wear remain visible across the medium-toned boards. The hand-rolled planks measure 120–125mm wide and 20mm thick, with random lengths from 0.6 to 4.2 metres. Eternity is made from solid reclaimed Victorian pine, preserving its original polished patina and open nail holes. The softly sanded boards have hand-rolled edges and measure 115–125mm wide, 10–12mm thick and between 0.6 and 4 metres long. Eternity can be used across floors, walls and ceilings.
