About Bourne
Bourne is a wide plank European oak floor with deep brown tones and a warm, grounded character. The 190mm boards feature expressive grain, natural knots and subtle colour variation, creating a rich foundation for contemporary and traditional interiors. Each plank has a medium-brushed surface and a Hardened Oil finish, adding a soft sheen with practical wear and splash resistance. Its 14mm three-layer engineered construction includes a 3mm wear layer and micro-bevelled edges. Bourne is FSC®-certified, suitable for wall cladding and should be maintained with Care System 1.

Our most commonly used wood species due to its strength and durability. Sourced from cooler climates to encourage slower growth, meaning tighter growth with straight grain and unique knot structure.

Nature grade
Our most popular grade due to its natural look, celebrating organic features such as knots, irregular grain pattern and closed heartwood. Occasional lighter sapwood of up to 30% of the boards.

Medium Brushed
A lightly brushed surface raises the natural grain, adding tactile depth that feels as good underfoot as it looks.

3 Layer Engineered
An engineered construction consisting of 3 layers, a hardwood top, and softwood core and base layer. The core is laid perpendicular to the top, while the base further stabilises the board for added strength and durability.
