About Brindle

Brindle Narrow Herringbone brings rhythm and movement to pale European oak. The 90mm x 450mm blocks create a finely scaled parquet pattern, enriched by natural knots, subtle colour variation and the soft pink undertone of the timber. Each block is brushed and limed to accentuate the oak grain, then finished with Hardened Oil for lasting protection and a gentle sheen. Brindle Herringbone is FSC®-certified, suitable for wall cladding and maintained with Care System 3.

Why Ted Todd

Engineered for strength, stability and enduring beauty

  • 01

    European Oak

Our most commonly used wood species due to its strength and durability. Sourced from cooler climates to encourage slower growth, meaning tighter growth with straight grain and unique knot structure.

  • 02

    Nature grade

Our most popular grade due to its natural look, celebrating organic features such as knots, irregular grain pattern and closed heartwood. Occasional lighter sapwood of up to 30% of the boards.

  • 03

    Medium Brushed

A lightly brushed surface raises the natural grain, adding tactile depth that feels as good underfoot as it looks.

  • 04

    2 Ply Engineered

An engineered construction consisting of 2 robust hardwood layers, the top layer and the base layer, creating a100% hardwood build. Available in a range of thicknesses, including our 20mm floors.

  • 05

FSC 100% - Independently Audited, Since 1997, Chain of Custody Tracking

Proudly maintaining FSC cerfication since 1997. We ensure our wood is sourced from responsibly managed forests.

  • 06

    30 year warranty

Backed by our 30 year structural warranty when installed and maintained to Ted Todd specification.
