About Chesham
Chesham Narrow Herringbone brings warmth and rhythm to interiors through a precisely scaled parquet pattern. The 70mm x 490mm European oak blocks showcase the floor’s balanced mineral tone, with brushing adding subtle texture and definition to the natural grain. Prime-grade timber gives the pattern a clean, consistent character, while square-shouldered edges allow each block to meet without visible bevels. Its 11mm engineered construction includes a 4mm wear layer and an Absolute Matt® Lacquer finish. Chesham is FSC®-certified, suitable for underfloor heating and wall cladding, and should be cared for using Care System 1.

Our most commonly used wood species due to its strength and durability. Sourced from cooler climates to encourage slower growth, meaning tighter growth with straight grain and unique knot structure.

Prime grade
Minimal natural features, showing a limited amount of small knots and black pin knots, with occasional lighter sapwood to the edges. Wider formats tend to show more features than narrow designs.

Brushed
Surface brushing enhances the natural timber grain and unique characteristics, introducing texture and definition. The deeper the brushing, the more tactile the grain.

2 Layer Engineered
An engineered construction consisting of 2 layers, a hardwood top, and a softwood base layer, laid at 90 degrees for added durability. Ideal for spaces requiring thinner floors.
