About Lowndes
Lowndes Narrow Herringbone brings precise movement to the warm, natural tones of European oak. The 70mm x 490mm blocks form a detailed parquet pattern, with brushed grain adding gentle texture across the clean prime-grade timber. Square-shouldered edges create close, uninterrupted joins, keeping the herringbone design crisp throughout the space. Absolute Matt® Lacquer protects the oak while preserving its understated appearance. Its 11mm engineered construction includes a substantial 4mm wear layer. Lowndes Herringbone is FSC®-certified, suitable for underfloor heating and wall cladding, and maintained with Care System 1.

European Oak
Our most commonly used wood species due to its strength and durability. Sourced from cooler climates to encourage slower growth, meaning tighter growth with straight grain and unique knot structure.

Prime grade
Minimal natural features, showing a limited amount of small knots and black pin knots, with occasional lighter sapwood to the edges. Wider formats tend to show more features than narrow designs.

Brushed
Surface brushing enhances the natural timber grain and unique characteristics, introducing texture and definition. The deeper the brushing, the more tactile the grain.

2 Layer Engineered
An engineered construction consisting of 2 layers, a hardwood top, and a softwood base layer, laid at 90 degrees for added durability. Ideal for spaces requiring thinner floors.
