About Montrose
Montrose Chevron pairs a soft white oak tone with the architectural movement of a 45-degree pattern. The 70mm x 520mm blocks create crisp directional lines, complemented by the refined grain and restrained variation of prime-grade European oak. Each block is brushed and protected with Absolute Matt® Lacquer for a calm, low-sheen surface. Square-shouldered edges create sharp points and clean joins throughout the chevron design. Montrose Chevron has an 11mm two-layer engineered construction with a 4mm wear layer. It is FSC®-certified, suitable for underfloor heating and wall cladding, and should be cared for using Care System 3.

European Oak
Our most commonly used wood species due to its strength and durability. Sourced from cooler climates to encourage slower growth, meaning tighter growth with straight grain and unique knot structure.

Prime grade
Minimal natural features, showing a limited amount of small knots and black pin knots, with occasional lighter sapwood to the edges. Wider formats tend to show more features than narrow designs.

Brushed
Surface brushing enhances the natural timber grain and unique characteristics, introducing texture and definition. The deeper the brushing, the more tactile the grain.

2 Layer Engineered
An engineered construction consisting of 2 layers, a hardwood top, and a softwood base layer, laid at 90 degrees for added durability. Ideal for spaces requiring thinner floors.
