About Paxton
Paxton is an extra-wide European oak floor with warm, honey-toned grain created through a light fuming treatment. Nature-grade timber brings knots, sapwood and tonal variation to the smooth surface, giving each plank a distinct yet balanced character. The 220mm-wide boards reach up to 2.2 metres in length, creating a generous, flowing appearance with fewer joins. Its 20mm 2-ply engineered construction includes a substantial 6mm wear layer and subtle micro-bevelled edges. Finished with Satin Lacquer for a soft, low-sheen appearance, Paxton is FSC®-certified, suitable for underfloor heating and maintained with Care System 1.

Our most commonly used wood species due to its strength and durability. Sourced from cooler climates to encourage slower growth, meaning tighter growth with straight grain and unique knot structure.

Our most popular grade due to its natural look, celebrating organic features such as knots, irregular grain pattern and closed heartwood. Occasional lighter sapwood of up to 30% of the boards.

Smooth
Traditionally planed and fine sanded to create a flat, even surface. The result is a clean, polished appearance that focuses on the grain pattern and wood tones.
