About Thatch
Thatch Wide Plank is a soft brown-grey European oak floor with a washed, naturally balanced tone. The 190mm boards reach up to 1.9 metres in length, creating a relaxed surface with visible knots, sapwood and subtle saw marks. Each plank is brushed and gently undulating, with softened micro-bevelled edges adding tactile character. Its 15mm engineered construction includes a 4mm wear layer, while Hardened Oil provides a soft sheen and added resistance to everyday wear and splashes. Thatch is FSC®-certified and should be maintained with Care System 1.

Engineered for strength, stability and enduring beauty
- 01
European Oak
Our most commonly used wood species due to its strength and durability. Sourced from cooler climates to encourage slower growth, meaning tighter growth with straight grain and unique knot structure.
- 02
Nature grade
Our most popular grade due to its natural look, celebrating organic features such as knots, irregular grain pattern and closed heartwood. Occasional lighter sapwood of up to 30% of the boards.
- 03
Undulating Texture
Crafted with a gentle irregular surface and rounded 'pillow' edges, adding natural movement across the floor. Inspired by antique wood, the undulating surface celebrates the character developed through age.
- 04
3 Layer Engineered
An engineered construction consisting of 3 layers, a hardwood top, and softwood core and base layer. The core is laid perpendicular to the top, while the base further stabilises the board for added strength and durability.
