Site-finished chevron flooring at Netherhall Gardens, London Customised Rhine and Hillstar from our Unfinished Oaks collection transition naturally between the apartments, brought together by one bespoke finish. Godfrey London worked with Ted Todd to develop the flooring specification: Rhine and Hillstar in unfinished prime-grade European oak. A single bespoke finish applied onsite maintained tonal continuity as the geometry changed between rooms. Duxhurst Construction Consultancy installed both floors.

These exceptionally finished apartments, nestled between the leafy wilds of Hampstead Heath and Primrose Hill, combine luxury living and the finest materials perfectly.
This project was completed in Netherhall Gardens and comprises of two apartment buildings; one a contemporary beauty created by award winning architects Squire and Partners, and the other a historical building with impeccable architectural style.
Working alongside Godfrey London, we delivered bespoke engineered wood flooring for the project. Our expert specification team combined Rhine, an engineered 20mm chevron wood floor, and Hillstar, an engineered Parquet de Versailles floor. The two floors flow seamlessly throughout the property in chevron format, each finished to complement the other and create varied cool tones throughout the surface. Both of the floors were fitted by Duxhurst Construction Consultancy.
Both Hillstar and Rhine are specified unfinished as standard, and can be found in our Unfinished Oaks collection. This raw surface allows your floor to be finished on-site for maximum flexibility in selecting the floor and finish that suits the need of your project.
Rhine up close
Rhine’s prime-grade European oak gives the chevron pattern a clean, precise character. Woodworks customised the unfinished blocks with a finish matched to Hillstar. A 20mm engineered construction and 6mm wear layer support long-term performance.
