About Rhine
Rhine is an unfinished prime grade European oak chevron, defined by its clean appearance and subtle grain detail. Its structured pattern creates a strong sense of direction, working particularly well across hallways and open-plan spaces. Carefully selected for minimal natural character, Rhine has a smooth, consistent surface ready for your choice of custom finish. The 20mm construction and 6mm wear layer allow for repeated sanding and refinishing. FSC® certified and suitable for creating a continuous look across connected spaces.

Our most commonly used wood species due to its strength and durability. Sourced from cooler climates to encourage slower growth, meaning tighter growth with straight grain and unique knot structure.

Prime grade
Minimal natural features, showing a limited amount of small knots and black pin knots, with occasional lighter sapwood to the edges. Wider formats tend to show more features than narrow designs.

Traditionally planed and fine sanded to create a flat, even surface. The result is a clean, polished appearance that focuses on the grain pattern and wood tones.
