About Cheyne
Cheyne Chevron combines a light oak tone with the architectural definition of a 45-degree pattern. The 70mm x 520mm blocks create crisp directional lines, softened by the natural grain of prime-grade European oak. Each block is brushed and finished with Absolute Matt® Lacquer for an understated, low-sheen appearance. Square-shouldered edges keep the joins precise and uninterrupted. Cheyne Chevron has an 11mm two-layer engineered construction with a 4mm wear layer. It is FSC®-certified, suitable for underfloor heating and wall cladding, and maintained with Care System 1.

European Oak
Our most commonly used wood species due to its strength and durability. Sourced from cooler climates to encourage slower growth, meaning tighter growth with straight grain and unique knot structure.

Prime grade
Minimal natural features, showing a limited amount of small knots and black pin knots, with occasional lighter sapwood to the edges. Wider formats tend to show more features than narrow designs.

Brushed
Surface brushing enhances the natural timber grain and unique characteristics, introducing texture and definition. The deeper the brushing, the more tactile the grain.

2 Layer Engineered
An engineered construction consisting of 2 layers, a hardwood top, and a softwood base layer, laid at 90 degrees for added durability. Ideal for spaces requiring thinner floors.
