About Cheyne
Cheyne Narrow Herringbone brings gentle movement to light European oak. The 70mm x 490mm blocks form a precise parquet pattern, with subtle grain detail adding depth to the pale mineral tone. Prime-grade oak gives the floor a calm, consistent character. The brushed surface is protected with Absolute Matt® Lacquer, while bevel-free square shoulders allow the pattern to flow cleanly across the interior. Its 11mm engineered construction includes a 4mm wear layer. Cheyne is FSC®-certified, suitable for underfloor heating and wall cladding, and should be cared for using Care System 1.

European Oak
Our most commonly used wood species due to its strength and durability. Sourced from cooler climates to encourage slower growth, meaning tighter growth with straight grain and unique knot structure.

Prime grade
Minimal natural features, showing a limited amount of small knots and black pin knots, with occasional lighter sapwood to the edges. Wider formats tend to show more features than narrow designs.

Brushed
Surface brushing enhances the natural timber grain and unique characteristics, introducing texture and definition. The deeper the brushing, the more tactile the grain.

2 Layer Engineered
An engineered construction consisting of 2 layers, a hardwood top, and a softwood base layer, laid at 90 degrees for added durability. Ideal for spaces requiring thinner floors.
