About Oster
Oster is a wide plank European Larch floor with warm, light tones and a distinctive linear grain. Natural knots and gentle colour variation give the 190mm boards an expressive character, while lengths of up to 1.9 metres create a balanced flow through the interior. Each plank is smoothly sanded and supplied unfinished, allowing the final colour, sheen and protection to be selected for the project. Its substantial 20mm 2-ply engineered construction includes a 4mm wear layer and micro-bevelled edges. Oster is UKTR-compliant and suitable for underfloor heating. It is not suitable for wall cladding, and the appropriate care system will depend on the finish applied after installation. Please note that the interior images show Oster after it has been professionally finished on site, illustrating how the timber can look once your chosen treatment has been applied.

European Larch
A pale timber with pink undertones known for its stability, strength and hardness. Sourced from cooler climates to encourage slower growth, resulting in very tight growth rings and regular grain patterns.

Nature grade
Our most popular grade due to its natural look, celebrating organic features such as knots, irregular grain pattern and closed heartwood. Occasional lighter sapwood of up to 30% of the boards.

Smooth
Traditionally planed and fine sanded to create a flat, even surface. The result is a clean, polished appearance that focuses on the grain pattern and wood tones.

Multi-ply engineered core delivers stability across temperature and humidity changes — suitable above underfloor heating.
