About Winterfold
Winterfold is a wide plank Pippy Burr Oak floor with warm honey tones and distinctive clusters of small cat’s claw knots. The 190mm boards showcase the rare, characterful markings of the timber, with natural sapwood and tonal variation giving every floor an individual appearance. Each plank is smoothly sanded and supplied unfinished, allowing the final colour, sheen and protection to be chosen for the project. Its 15mm 2-ply engineered construction includes a 4mm wear layer, micro-bevelled edges and random lengths up to 1.9 metres. Winterfold is FSC®-certified, suitable for underfloor heating and can also be used as wall cladding. The appropriate care system will depend on the finish applied after installation.

Boards are selected from prime-grade timber for a clean, uniform surface with consistent colour and grain across each pack.

Our most popular grade due to its natural look, celebrating organic features such as knots, irregular grain pattern and closed heartwood. Occasional lighter sapwood of up to 30% of the boards.

Traditionally planed and fine sanded to create a flat, even surface. The result is a clean, polished appearance that focuses on the grain pattern and wood tones.
