About Petworth
Petworth Plank is a light European oak floor with a natural tone and gentle warmth. The 150mm boards create a classic, balanced look, with visible grain, occasional knots and subtle colour variation adding authentic timber character. Each board is lightly brushed and finished with Hardened Oil for a soft sheen and practical wear resistance. Its 14mm engineered construction includes a 3mm wear layer, micro-bevelled edges and lengths up to 1.2 metres. Petworth Plank is UKTR-certified, suitable for wall cladding and maintained with Care System 1.

Our most commonly used wood species due to its strength and durability. Sourced from cooler climates to encourage slower growth, meaning tighter growth with straight grain and unique knot structure.

Nature grade
Our most popular grade due to its natural look, celebrating organic features such as knots, irregular grain pattern and closed heartwood. Occasional lighter sapwood of up to 30% of the boards.

Medium Brushed
A lightly brushed surface raises the natural grain, adding tactile depth that feels as good underfoot as it looks.

3 Layer Engineered
An engineered construction consisting of 3 layers, a hardwood top, and softwood core and base layer. The core is laid perpendicular to the top, while the base further stabilises the board for added strength and durability.
