About Petworth
Petworth Wide Plank presents the calm, natural character of European oak across generous 190mm boards. Lengths reach up to 1.9 metres, creating an open sense of flow while allowing the timber’s grain, knots and tonal variation to remain clearly visible. The lightly brushed surface is protected with Hardened Oil, preserving the warmth of the oak with a subtle sheen. Petworth has a 14mm three-layer engineered construction and a 3mm wear layer. It is FSC®-certified, suitable for wall cladding and should be cared for using Care System 1.

Our most commonly used wood species due to its strength and durability. Sourced from cooler climates to encourage slower growth, meaning tighter growth with straight grain and unique knot structure.

Nature grade
Our most popular grade due to its natural look, celebrating organic features such as knots, irregular grain pattern and closed heartwood. Occasional lighter sapwood of up to 30% of the boards.

Medium Brushed
A lightly brushed surface raises the natural grain, adding tactile depth that feels as good underfoot as it looks.

3 Layer Engineered
An engineered construction consisting of 3 layers, a hardwood top, and softwood core and base layer. The core is laid perpendicular to the top, while the base further stabilises the board for added strength and durability.
