About Satchel
Satchel Plank is a dark European oak floor with warm brown tones and richly defined grain. The 180mm boards reach up to 2.2 metres in length, creating a strong, continuous surface with natural knots and subtle tonal variation. A medium-brushed texture brings the timber detail into focus, while Hardened Oil adds a soft sheen and durable everyday protection. Its 15mm three-layer engineered construction includes a 3mm wear layer. Satchel is UKTR- and PEFC-certified, suitable for underfloor heating and wall cladding, and maintained with Care System 1.

Our most commonly used wood species due to its strength and durability. Sourced from cooler climates to encourage slower growth, meaning tighter growth with straight grain and unique knot structure.

Nature grade
Our most popular grade due to its natural look, celebrating organic features such as knots, irregular grain pattern and closed heartwood. Occasional lighter sapwood of up to 30% of the boards.

Medium Brushed
A lightly brushed surface raises the natural grain, adding tactile depth that feels as good underfoot as it looks.

3 Ply Engineered
An engineered construction consisting of 3 layers; a hardwood top, core and base. Each crafted in 100% oak making it one of our most robust constructions available.
