About Schwarz
Schwarz is a double-fumed unfinished European oak chevron, defined by its deep, dark tone and subtle grain detail. The chevron pattern creates a strong sense of direction, bringing structure and movement to contemporary spaces. Made from prime grade oak with minimal natural character, Schwarz has a smooth, consistent surface. The 20mm construction and nominal 6mm wear layer allow for repeated sanding and refinishing. FSC® certified and ready for your choice of custom finish, allowing you to tailor the colour, gloss level and durability.

Our most commonly used wood species due to its strength and durability. Sourced from cooler climates to encourage slower growth, meaning tighter growth with straight grain and unique knot structure.

Prime grade
Minimal natural features, showing a limited amount of small knots and black pin knots, with occasional lighter sapwood to the edges. Wider formats tend to show more features than narrow designs.

Smooth
Traditionally planed and fine sanded to create a flat, even surface. The result is a clean, polished appearance that focuses on the grain pattern and wood tones.
