About Southill
Southill is an unfinished nature grade European oak plank in a super-wide 300mm format, finished with subtle microbevelled edges. Its generous proportions create a strong sense of scale, balanced by natural knots, sap and tonal variation. Carefully sanded for a smooth, consistent surface, the 20mm construction provides a durable foundation for repeated sanding and refinishing. PEFC certified and suitable for underfloor heating. Choose from our custom finishes to achieve your preferred colour, gloss level and durability.

Our most commonly used wood species due to its strength and durability. Sourced from cooler climates to encourage slower growth, meaning tighter growth with straight grain and unique knot structure.

Our most popular grade due to its natural look, celebrating organic features such as knots, irregular grain pattern and closed heartwood. Occasional lighter sapwood of up to 30% of the boards.

Traditionally planed and fine sanded to create a flat, even surface. The result is a clean, polished appearance that focuses on the grain pattern and wood tones.
