About Carrick
Carrick is an extra-wide European oak floor with smoky-grey undertones and a distinctive shadow-sawn texture. Small pin knots, live knots and natural colour variation remain visible across the 220mm boards, giving the timber depth and a softly weathered character. Long lengths of up to 2.2 metres bring a generous sense of scale to the floor. Its 20mm engineered construction includes a substantial 6mm wear layer, while matt Burnished Hardwax Oil enhances the grain and develops a rich patina over time. Carrick is FSC®-certified, suitable for underfloor heating and should be maintained with Care System 2.

Our most commonly used wood species due to its strength and durability. Sourced from cooler climates to encourage slower growth, meaning tighter growth with straight grain and unique knot structure.

Our most popular grade due to its natural look, celebrating organic features such as knots, irregular grain pattern and closed heartwood. Occasional lighter sapwood of up to 30% of the boards.

Shadow Sawn
Features intermittent saw marks that are more subtle, offering a softer and gentler appearance. The markings are applied randomly across the width of the board.

Multi-ply engineered core delivers stability across temperature and humidity changes — suitable above underfloor heating.
