About Ingleton
Ingleton Wide Plank is a rich American Black Walnut floor with warm brown tones and flowing natural grain. Prime-grade timber gives the 190mm boards a clean, consistent appearance, with minimal knots, sapwood and colour variation. Each smooth plank reaches up to 1.86 metres in length and is finished with matt Burnished Hardwax Oil, enhancing the walnut’s depth and natural lustre. Its 20mm 2-ply engineered construction includes a substantial 6mm wear layer and micro-bevelled edges. Ingleton is UKTR-compliant, suitable for underfloor heating and should be maintained with Care System 2. Rivington offers the same finish in nature-grade walnut, while Rockingham is the prime-grade unfinished alternative.

Sourced from the eastern United States, this distinctive timber is prized for its deep chocolate brown tones and richly figured grain. Natural features include curl, crotch and burl patterns.

Minimal natural features, showing a limited amount of small knots and black pin knots, with occasional lighter sapwood to the edges. Wider formats tend to show more features than narrow designs.

Traditionally planed and fine sanded to create a flat, even surface. The result is a clean, polished appearance that focuses on the grain pattern and wood tones.
