About Mimas
Mimas Narrow Herringbone showcases the rich colour and flowing grain of American Black Walnut in a finely scaled parquet pattern. The 70mm x 490mm blocks feature natural knots, sapwood and tonal variation, giving the floor depth and individual character. Each block is smoothly sanded and supplied unfinished, allowing the final colour, sheen and protection to be selected for the project. Its 15mm 2-ply engineered construction includes a 4mm wear layer, while square-shouldered edges create precise, closely fitted joins. Mimas is UKTR-certified and suitable for underfloor heating. It is not suitable for wall cladding, and the appropriate care system will depend on the finish applied after installation.

Our most popular grade due to its natural look, celebrating organic features such as knots, irregular grain pattern and closed heartwood. Occasional lighter sapwood of up to 30% of the boards.
