About Rivington
Rivington Wide Plank is a richly toned American Black Walnut floor with flowing grain, natural knots and distinctive colour variation. The 190mm boards reach up to 1.86 metres in length, creating a warm, characterful surface with the depth associated with nature-grade walnut. Each smooth plank is finished with matt Burnished Hardwax Oil, enhancing the timber’s natural lustre and allowing a rich patina to develop over time. Its 20mm 2-ply engineered construction includes a substantial 6mm wear layer and micro-bevelled edges. Rivington is UKTR-compliant, suitable for underfloor heating and should be maintained with Care System 2. Ingleton offers a prime-grade hardwax-oiled alternative, while Blackmuir and Rockingham are supplied unfinished in nature and prime grades.

Our most popular grade due to its natural look, celebrating organic features such as knots, irregular grain pattern and closed heartwood. Occasional lighter sapwood of up to 30% of the boards.
