About Rockingham
Rockingham Wide Plank showcases the warm brown colour and flowing grain of prime-grade American Black Walnut. The 190mm boards reach up to 1.86 metres in length, creating a refined surface with minimal knots, sapwood and tonal variation. Each plank is smoothly sanded and supplied unfinished, allowing the final colour, sheen and protection to be selected for the project. Its 20mm 2-ply engineered construction includes a substantial 6mm wear layer and micro-bevelled edges. Rockingham is UKTR-compliant and suitable for underfloor heating. Ingleton offers the same prime-grade walnut with a matt Burnished Hardwax Oil finish, while Blackmuir and Rivington provide unfinished and hardwax-oiled alternatives in nature-grade walnut.

Sourced from the eastern United States, this distinctive timber is prized for its deep chocolate brown tones and richly figured grain. Natural features include curl, crotch and burl patterns.

Minimal natural features, showing a limited amount of small knots and black pin knots, with occasional lighter sapwood to the edges. Wider formats tend to show more features than narrow designs.
