One of our luckiest finds over the years has been the Bourbon Oak we discovered; taken from decades (perhaps over a century) old whiskey barrels in Nashville, Tennessee, each and every grain has warm Tennessee sunshine coursing throughout.
Just like the premium spirit that once matured against this wood, these planks have warm honey-like tones and a colouring, unlike anything that you will see elsewhere in the natural world.
Suitable as wall and ceiling cladding, or as a flooring option, the reclaimed Bourbon Oak Bodega is the perfect choice for a project that is looking to add a level of individuality, prompting talking points throughout every plank.
Distilling’s loss is your gain because this 2-ply engineered plank has an incredibly tight grain pattern due to pushing back against the golden whiskey throughout the years. This makes Bodega a durable and hard-wearing selection that will last decades with the correct use of Care System 2.

Care and maintenance
To prevent any potential harm to your floors, it’s crucial to choose the right cleaning products. Unlike many generic floor cleaners that contain solvents or bleach, which can lead to floor damage and discolouration, our Ted Todd specialist cleaning products have been designed to protect and promote floor longevity.
- If your floor has a lacquered or hardened oil finish, use Care System 1.
- If your floor has a natural oil or hardwax oil finish, use Care System 2.
- If your floor is white and has a lacquered or hardened oil finish, use Care System 3.
- If your floor is white and has a natural oil or hardwax oil finish, use Care System 4.
