About this product

New to our Project Collection, Ryhill is a mid-toned floor with a subtle blonde hue that is brushed and then limed. Liming is a traditional whitening process that is used to highlight the natural grain of the oak. With the additional process of fuming, this floor has a slightly darkened undertone and enhanced grain detail. Engineered using high spec nature grade European oak Ryhill will display some knots, colour variation and sap. Each board or block has been lightly brushed to reveal the natural grain detail of the oak. Ryhill wide plank and herringbone designs have FSC certification meaning you can rest assured knowing that you are making a sustainable choice when choosing this floor. The extra wide plank option (260mm wide) is UKTR certified. This floor can also be used as wall cladding.

Ryhill has been engineered using high spec nature grade European oak meaning that it will display some knots, colour variation and sap, adding to the natural appeal of the wood.

This new floor boasts 3 variations, available in 190mm, 14mm thick planks with a 3mm wear layer, extra wide 260mm planks with a 15mm thickness and a 4mm wear layer and also narrow herringbone.

Ryhill’s hardened oil finish gives off a natural look and a subtle sheen whilst making this floor durable and easy to maintain. This floor can also be used as wall cladding.

Take care of this floor by using Care System 1, our specially formulated cleaning system. You can find out more about our care systems here.

Architectural Details

Add the perfect finishing touch with our architectural details all of which have been specifically designed and manufactured for Ted Todd.

Mouldings, trims, beads, skirting, architrave, treads and risers are architectural details that are an essential part of every flooring installation. Special consideration should be given to floor-to-floor transitions, floor-to-wall design, and how floors progress across multiple levels.

Architectural details give spaces cohesion and create a harmonious flow, softening connections and hiding delineations. All of these  details are most effective when they work seamlessly with your floor. This is why our floors and architectural details are created by us, to complement each other.

Installing a wood floor is no mean feat and we always recommend it is undertaken by a professional flooring fitter.

Everything you need to know to install and care for your floor can be found in our installation guides, which you can find here.
