Coast
Coast is a light and characterful floor available in plank, extra width plank and herringbone, crafted from the very best European Oak available.
The subtle texture of Coast has been achieved through the hand brushing of our expert artisans in our Cheshire workshops. They’ve also added a micro bevel to the profile of the wood, making for a more defined edge which gives more definition from plank to plank or block to block. This more precise edge is found throughout many of our new wood collections and is commonly associated with a modern townhouse look.
Fully FSC certified, this is an environmentally friendly wood floor that can help lower the carbon footprint of your design. This European Oak has full FSC credentials, meaning that the wood has only been harvested from carefully and legally managed forests.
Coast is the perfect floor for all contemporary interiors thanks to its delicate bleached tones. The style typifies the fresh, minimal, clean-living which is most commonly associated with the ever-popular Scandi interior style. Apartments, beach houses and workspaces in particular benefit from Coast’s look and feel as it gives a sense of calm to these spaces through its light colours.

Mouldings, trims, beads, skirting, architrave, treads and risers are architectural details that are an essential part of every flooring installation. Special consideration should be given to floor-to-floor transitions, floor-to-wall design, and how floors progress across multiple levels.

Care and maintenance
To prevent any potential harm to your floors, it’s crucial to choose the right cleaning products. Unlike many generic floor cleaners that contain solvents or bleach, which can lead to floor damage and discolouration, our Ted Todd specialist cleaning products have been designed to protect and promote floor longevity.
- If your floor has a lacquered or hardened oil finish, use Care System 1.
- If your floor has a natural oil or hardwax oil finish, use Care System 2.
- If your floor is white and has a lacquered or hardened oil finish, use Care System 3.
- If your floor is white and has a natural oil or hardwax oil finish, use Care System 4.
