Miellin
Miellin is a handmade floor, crafted using the finest Oak sourced from the Quercy region of France.
Our craftspeople have been working with such species for over 25 years, perfecting their expert skills over this time.
Hand-rolled edges ensure that the natural undulations in each board flow across the entire floor, choose from extra wide 220mm planks, chevron and herringbone blocks, and Parquet de Versailles panels, all with a 2-ply engineered construction and sourced from sustainably managed forests.
Our extraordinary Parquet de Versailles design is registered to Woodworks and cannot be found in any other floor, or anywhere else.
We hand-cut the elements within our panels and are the only creators in the world to match each element from panel to panel.
These panels are crafted from the finest antique, reclaimed, and new materials and are unmatched in quality.
It’s the hand-rolled edges and polished hardwax oil finish that makes this French Oak floorboard so appealing. The natural texture of character-packed French oak is enhanced by the passion of British craftsmen with painstaking hand finishing to produce this medium-toned board suitable for every room and project, no matter the specifications.
Rustic grade and skip-sawn for a natural look and feel, Miellin is a floor that can add a link to nature to your project or room.
This floor is finished with Burnished Hardwax Oil, so be sure to use Care System 2 when treating it. You can find out more about our care systems here.
Architectural Details
Add the perfect finishing touch with our architectural details all of which have been specifically designed and manufactured for Ted Todd.Â
Mouldings, trims, beads, skirting, architrave, treads and risers are architectural details that are an essential part of every flooring installation. Special consideration should be given to floor-to-floor transitions, floor-to-wall design, and how floors progress across multiple levels.
Architectural details give spaces cohesion and create a harmonious flow, softening connections and hiding delineations. All of these details are most effective when they work seamlessly with your floor. This is why our floors and architectural details are created by us, to complement each other.
