As we stepped into Autumn, we released our October 2022 flooring collections which completes the most comprehensive product range ever presented by Ted Todd and Woodworks.
A portfolio that has been almost 30 years in the making (we celebrate our 30th birthday next year) with new exciting engineered wood floor products that successfully complement our existing floors to give you the most design-led, sustainable, extensive range of hardwood options seen anywhere in the market.
Our goal is to make people feel good in the spaces where we live, work and play, and the natural, organic, versatile floors you will find here do that in abundance.
NEW TO CRAFTED TEXTURES
We’ve added six new additions to our Crafted Textures Collection, ready for you to specify in your next project. Nobody puts more design, quality and value into their flooring and these new floors illustrate the point perfectly, packing your project with rustic-feel character in a range of tones.
Made from Nature grade European Oak, Dunham, Marbury and Sheringham are 2ply, 20mm thick, engineered hardwood floors have been finished in a durable, natural Hardwax Oil – a finish that slowly builds for maximum protection. Shadows of saw marks add extra depth and texture across each plank and block these floors are beautifully rustic and ideal for busy commercial environments or design lead homes.
NEW TO CLASSIC TONES
A rich brown floor with flickers of lighter tones, Chistlehurst herringbone blocks are 10mm thick with a 3mm wear layer and have been finished using restoration oil, an organic, oiled finish that provides a deep lustre to your floor. Because of its thickness, it is perfectly suited for light commercial use and can be used as wall cladding. This floor has a Smooth & Restoration Oil finish, which is easy to maintain with Care System 2.
Also new to the Classic Tones, Kearney is a rich, caramel and dark toned oak floor that will last. Crafted into 70mm x 490mm herringbone blocks to make a strong design statement this smart, modern herringbone floor has a brushed surface with no bevels. It has been finished in restoration oil which adds depth and quality. Like Chislehurst, Kearney is suitable for use as wall cladding, can be used with underfloor heating and is ideal for light commercial environments.
NEW TO EDITIONS
From a variety of finishes and textures, through to more challenging fuming and seasoning, we have innovated our Editions collection again, adding personality packed new releases: Ristretto, Cassava, Kingham, Cladonia and Loft. Ristretto, Cassava and Kingham have all been developed using our latest technique, deep fuming. This process penetrates deep into the wood, producing a richer, darker tone, infusing your project with the outdoor world, enriching the lives of those who use them.
NEW TO SUPERWIDE
This time round we have introduced our new super-white floor, Ibis, to the Superwide collection. Crafted from the finest Douglas Fir, this profound floor is bleached to achieve this pale and crisp look. A blank canvas to craft upon. Thanks to our intelligent finishing, this floor needs very little maintenance, especially in contrast to alternative white floors which require a lye treatment.
New to the Aged collection are our organic, English-Aged-Look floors. Inspired by a modern English country house aesthetic, these bevel free floors are discreet and stylish in their appeal. The look is almost unfinished despite being incredibly durable and timeless. We recommend laying these random width planks with subtle gaps, either consistent or at random sizes, for the most authentic look.
