We’re the market leaders in sustainably sourced wood floors.
Since 1997, we have been FSC® compliant, and the great majority of our wood flooring and cladding options are FSC® or PEFC certified.
Most companies will charge extra for this certification, but we include this as a commitment to a better, healthier planet for years to come.
To make the most sustainable choice for your home or project, and for our planet, choose Ted Todd.
Our floors are constructed for demanding environments and our confidence in them is reflected in our guarantee. All our floors that are less than 20mm thick come with a 20 year guarantee, and all our floors 20mm+ thick come with a 25 year guarantee.
What initially appears to be an uncomplicated background of golden-brown colours quickly reveals much more. Look beyond the laboriously applied Burnished Hardwax Oil coating to see distinctive dark natural and man-made salients. They reflect the oak’s long and varied history, with each block, plank and panel telling its own unique story.
Because long-term durability and stability are paramount to the success of an antique floor, we’ve added an extra-thick 6mm wear layer onto our 2-ply engineered 20mm boards here, meaning Babington will last lifetimes, telling yet more stories, if cared for correctly.
We have an international reputation for our skills in reclaiming and restoring antique wood, such as this Oak. The wood we restore can be many hundreds of years old and we take this responsibility very seriously, we just hope you enjoy these floors as much as we enjoyed developing them.
